I do not use speech or narration, I do not make documentaries. I will not conduct interviews. Rather my work seeks to capture bioacoustics and bio-visual episodes to create installations which embody a sentience that is site-specific. My work seeks to foreground psychosomatic environmental connection (and disconnection), within a visual and sonic framework that has the capacity to seduce.
I am currently Artist in Residence at Plymouth School of Creative Arts, completing work started on a recent residency at Arts Quarter Budapest, where I undertook a month long period of research to harvest material for a new piece focussing on recreation at the various thermal baths in Budapest. This work will be screened at PSCA Plymouth, Fringe Arts Bath and AQB Budapest in Spring 2016.
